i'm using slackware64 -Current with Multilib

As root cd first to /usr/lib and run the code

Code:

ln -s libtiff.so.3 libtiff.so.4

and the run it again in /usr/lib64 as you are running Slackware64.

I'd believe the multilibs should not be needed.

Thanks Ponce! Downloaded and it really works on straight 64bit Slackware as skype-static, finally there is no need for multilib just to run Skype.

The logs files are binary files that contains no very useful info.

Perhaps that might be the symlink issue that is covered earlier in this thread?
