Skip the boot time(r)


Hello LQ, I would like to bypass the LILO menu and boot right into Slackware but is not working.

I commented out prompt and timeout options but it doesn't seems to work, what I am doing wrong ?

Hi Pyndrive,

Welcome to LQ!!
After editing lilo.conf, you need to run
Code:
'lilo -v'
Just have a look at the following URL's. It will help you to get the idea.

I've sorted it out meanwhile, I'm to sleepy ( 2:40 AM here ).
