Hi all,
we r providing Internet over LAN here for our district-- around 350 plus comps in the network. i want to configure a local mail server that can be Configured for my subscribers for POP & SMTP -- so that they only need to connect to the SERVER to send & recv messages-- rest the internet part (relaying)is being handled by my mail server. my domain name is "scavan.com" & want to have the users as
user1@scavan.com,
user1@scavan.com,
123@scavan.com etc.
I am a complete noob too linux.
I have setup exim as SMTP server & it is working kindof Ok till now. i want the users to have pop3 accounts on this server. after i check its working offline i'll put the server On a Leased line for actuall working.
i heard of Popa3d been built into slack but tried it- its not working-may be i am doing wrong.
can someone pls guide me on how to set it up.
