Should i use as my swap an ext3 partition or a reiser one ??

All my / is formatted to ext3 and so does my swap partition.

I have 256MB RAM so i use my swap a lot sometimes and that is the reason that i want it to be fast.

So i was wondering if i should format my swap to another filesystem like reiser so that i can be faster ?

I guess that / and swap should use the different filesystems, right ?

The swap partition will be created without any filesystem on it. Any FS you will put on it will be overwritten by mkswap(8).
