Shorewall Firewall

I recently installed Shorewall as my firewall. I used the one-interface template for my box. I know that there is a version of Shorewall for ipv6. Question is: do I need this as well or is my current implementation enough?

Thanks

Gary

The Shorewall site states that the IPv6 version uses two new packages, Shorewall6 and Shorewall6 lite. If your current install doesn't have those packages then yes you will need to download them. It requires kernel version 2.6.24 or greater; Slackware 13 comes with 2.6.29.6 so you are fine there.
