Shared library error
I keep getting the same error message whenever I try to type in the CLI. This is after I did and swaret --upgrade. I let it run overnight and when I check on it this morning I was getting this error.
error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I am not sure what lib this actually is but my best uneducated guess is libcaca. |
I wonder how you (and some other swaret users) can break as such a slackware install with
swaret. How did you hack your /etc/swaret.conf ? What sites have you configured as ROOT servers ? libc.so is one of the mandatory base libraries, without it, you could not even login in your computer. I would try to install glibc with : swaret --install glibc or: swaret --reinstall glibc good luck ! |
swaret.conf
The only changes I think I have made is to make sure to download from slackware-current. Could it be possible that the harddrive is full and causing problems with the update?

All is possible - try a ' df ' at command line to be sure
