Setting a image as background in tty , as in SUSE-12.1

Hi,
Recently I give a try with SUSE. Changed the runlevel to Multiuser without xdm.
In , ctrl+Alt+F1 (default tty), the background is a beautiful image with SUSe logo on top left. But, it is not coming in tty2/3/4/5 .

Is it possible (i think, it is) , to set a image as background in terminal, tty ? If yes, how can I do that in Slackware ?

this is no trivial issue, but have a look at fbsplash or -- even better -- at the arch linux wiki.
