Recently i started programming in php and learnt that i could use sendmail to send mail.
But none of the example scripts explaining the use of sendmail were working, i.e neither were they giving any errors nor were they sending the mail they were supposed to (to a gmail account).
I have sendmail installed. (from the Slack 10.1 installation disks)
So my question is can i use sendmail to send out email to regular email accounts like gmail and yahoo and if so how do i configure sendmail to do this.
I tried this at the shell :
and i did't receive any mail at the address i had sent it to.
Some One Please help.
