If you are starting the desktop with the startx command, just run the following command then:
Code:
xwmconfig
You will be able to select your desktop/window manager there.

And if you ever want to run again any installation script just run "pkgtool" on the terminal.

Also if you use "kdm" or "gdm" command instead of "startx" or "startkde" or whatever you will get a graphic login screen that has all installed DEs already on the drop-down menu. I prefer "kdm" as it has "Alt-N" and a menuitem to drop back to console.
