Segmentation Fault in dosbox with Slackware 14.0 64-bit
I actually found the solution to my problem but I thought I would post it here anyway in case somebody else also had problems.
After upgrading to Slackware 64.0 I found that dosbox segfaulted when I attempted to run it.
So I downloaded the latest version from Slackbuilds (same source but a patch file had been added). At first, I couldn't run it (it seemed to have problems installing /usr/bin/dosbox) so I tried using src2pkg and this time the build was successful (src2pkg applied the patch). But when I tried to run dosbox, I got the
"Segmentation Fault" again!
Since I also have multilib support on my machine (for Skype) I decided to compile it as a 32-bit program. This time it worked.
