Scsi subsystem not active...

In my slackware 11 install on kernel 2.6.19.2 I can't figure out as to why my scsi subsystem isn't active. Not sure how to really go about trouble-shooting this, either. Any suggestions would be great. Let me know what info you need.

Hi

Run lsmod as root and post the output, also what scsi card/devices do you have. Is udev installed and is /etc/rc.d/rc.udev set as executable.

Fixed it this morning, just had to compile some things in rather than having them set as modules. Thanks for the help anyhow though. :-)

What was it that you had to compile? I have been having the same message upon bootup, and would like to know what you did to resolve this. I do not have any SCSI devices, but perhaps it is seeing the SATA ports as SCSI. Thanks.
