scim-bridge bug which result in text lost, patch available, official apply?

Details can be found here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=461373

I can reproduce this bug on slackware-current too. It's very annoying and inconvenience. Is there any plan to apply that patch or scim-bridge upgrading officially?

I've noted this and saw that there are updates as well (less critical perhaps) for scim scim-tables and scim-m17n .
I assume this will be on the Slackware TODO by now.
