i own a paralel port scaner, and its conected to the computer through an IOMEGA ZIP drive... I've install the sane scaner utility, but it does not work... can u help me configuring it?

What type of scanner is it ?
What have you tried to get it working so far ?
Any error messages ?
Have you tried bypassing the link from the Zip and connecting it directly ?

I'm sure someone here can help, but please give more details, we don't have ESP ?

Well it's a Mustek ScanExpress 12000P. I have never tried to conect the scaner directly to thecomputer, because i use the zip drive a lot (my drivers, modules, and stuf are stored on the disks. I will try to conect it directly.
The shitty part is theat under windows it works perfectrly, even without the ZIP's drivers installed...
I've search the net over and over again for a driver that will do such a thing, because i have only one computer and a printer, 2 ZIP drives and a scaner and some times i need all of them to work togeder.
