SBOPKG(8) not list/show/build dependencies of SlackBuild scripts to build Slackware p
 

Hi,

When I search a SlackBuild scripts with SBOPKG(8) it, don't list/show/build the dependencies of SlackBuild scripts found.

I'm running Slackware 14 and SBOPKG(8) version 0.36.0

Somebody can help me ?

Sbopkg does not do this. From the homepage:

"Sbopkg will not check dependencies since that is not a feature native to Slackware. Sbopkg is one thing and one thing only: a medium to easily browse a local copy of the SlackBuilds.org repository and build packages from it."

You can use the queuefile feature and the sqg script in my signature along with the queuefiles I have created in that git repo.

OK, but I understand why SBOPKG(8) with 13.37 repository of -for example- inkscape show your required dependencies and, for 14 repositories not ?

The dependency listings moved from README to the .info file between 13.37 and 14.0. There is now a REQUIRES line in the .info file that lists the dependencies (but not the dependencies of the dependencies -- just like before, you will have to work those out yourself). If you see %README% in that requires line it means you should read the README carefully, since there may be some special action or configuration required to build/run. In sbopkg you can see the .info file using the Info option.
