sata on Slack11

I see in the changelogs that sata should be supported:

a/kernel-ide-2.4.33.3-i486-1.tgz:
Upgraded to Linux 2.4.33.3 sata.i kernel.

I have seen some other threads where partition
might be /dev/sdaX instead of old way /dev/hdaX
when using the new sata modules. So if you were
upgrading kernel and modules you might have to
modify your lilo and fstab, but I would imagine
that a clean install from scratch should set
those things correctly.

Try it and if you hit a snag, post back.

HTH,
bbeers
