Samba permissions by IP address or computer name

Is there a way to set samba to say like, "Anyone at 192.168.1.1 can have full access to share X"? Hosts allow alone doesn't do the trick. I'm so sick of the crap I have to put up with using per user security. It works fine in both Windows and Linux, but not in virtualbox. It just constantly stalls and crashes konqueror or whatever app I'm using, when I'm copying/downloading files.

Try something such as

Code:
[homes]
        comment = Home Directories
        read only = No
        hosts allow = 192.168.1.1
        guest ok = yes
The 'hosts allow' directive that does the work of allowing just that ip, and the 'guest ok' that allows access without a password

You say the hosts allow does not do the work? How do you mean?

Oh, hmmm... Maybe it's because I put it in the global section? I did not think to put it in the share section. Thanks, I will try that and get back to you if it fails, as I assume that works fine.
