SAK kills all

In Slackware 14 (and also earlier versions of course) the secure attention key (sak) kills too many processes. Is there any plan to repair it?

Code:

According to Andrew Morton in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/SAK.txt:
Code:

2: On the PC keyboard, SAK kills all applications which have
  /dev/console opened.

Unfortunately this includes a number of things which you don't
actually want killed.  This is because these applications are
incorrectly holding /dev/console open.  Be sure to complain to your
  Linux distributor about this!

You can identify processes which will be killed by SAK with the
  command

    # ls -l /proc/[0-9]*/fd/* | grep console

Yes I did and am and probably will.

When I look at my system, the only proceses that would be killed by SAK would be gpm and console-kit-daemon. Is that really too many processes?

Sorry I forgot to mark process with red color so that it could not get confused with program.
