I currently haven't got SC2 installed, updated my system while ago and haven't got multilib or wine for a moment. I noticed that there's new info at winehq pages, current wine version seems to be 1.3.3 etc. You might find some new tips to get SC2 runnig there.

Actually, last week I was kinda very frustrated at not being able to run SC2 on Slackware64 and as I had an unused partition at my HDD I decided installing Ubuntu x86_64 10.10 and SC2 installed beautifully. I love Slackware, but fair's fair!
Anyway, since I had my /home on a different partition accessible to both OS (OK, both are Linux after all, but the packaging differs a lot!) I boted Slackware this morning and I wondered what would happen if I just decided to try and run SC2... I was very happy finding it works flawlessly!

I'm too lazy to learn how to update my kernel. Maybe I will try Linux Mint while waiting for Slack 13.2.

I'm playing SC2 in Slackware 64 -current. I installed AlienBob's multi-lib and bought a copy of Crossover Games. It installed and works pretty well flawlessly (I have to turn a couple of graphics settings down or else wine crashes).
