root disk with LILO
After installing Slackware 10.2 I ran into some troubles with GRUB so
I decided to boot with LILO editing the MBR.
The Installation was clean, then when I went to reboot I was given a
LILO boot menu with this prompt
boot:
So I hit enter, and it said it was loading Linux and it went through a
number of tasks before it stopped at
VFS: Insert root floppy and press ENTER
now, I realized I need a root disk obviously, yet I don't have a
floppy drive considering this is a laptop. I surfed the internet for a
while and saw I needed a install.1 and a install.2 root disk. How can
I do this? I have the capability to burn CD's if that helps in any
way.
I appreciate any help you can offer me.
