Ah, bless noscript, I don't know what I'm missing. Unfortunately I scored only 89% on the nerdtest (linked in robby's homepage), and he's got a 99 :(

Don't worry about my mouse, Robby. I was telling lies. :o

hehe. Nice one Robby.
I guess this is where google's chrome browser with each new tab in a new process would come in handy. It does seem pretty poor that Firefox locks up when running JS. Does Opera cope with this better? As for that screensaver, One of the wintel admins at my last place of work put the BSOD screensaver on one of the NT servers. Late one evening, the backup tape changing monkey was doing the rounds, saw the BSOD and helpfully, flicked the big switch on the front, off and on! Almost as funny as the time one of the cleaners plugged the vacuum cleaner into a wall socket and then hit the big red EPO button in our datacenter. It's quite something to experience when a room full of around 100 servers, 2 mainframes, numerous strings of dasd, and assorted chiller units cry out in terror and are suddenly silenced. |

However, I did look at the source before I let it run (turned off noscript), I knew what would happen, but wanted to try to find a way around, of stopping it while it happens. So far, no solution. |
