Question Request to update alsa-lib in current

Any chance alsa-lib could be update to 1.0.27? Or as an alternative option, add the patch to the include/asoundlib-head.h file in alsa-lib 1.0.26 to include sys/types.h? This will prevent other apps which uses asoundlib.h from bombing on "unknown type name" during build.

Code:
--- a/include/asoundlib-head.h
+++ b/include/asoundlib-head.h
