Replace exo-mount with gnome-mount

Hi all,

I use Slackware 12.2 with XFCE 4.4.3. There exists known bug with xfce's utility 'exo-mount': it ignores mount options which comes from HAL. As I know, Xubuntu uses gnome-mount instead of exo-mount as a solution. So, is it a simple way to replace exo-mount to gnome-mount? gnome-mount installation is not a problem for me, the problem is to bind it as a xfce default mounter.

Is the system call 'mount' or mount (8) less capable?

Yes - 'mount' is very much less capable. It's not automagic. 'riden' is looking for a working replacement for the broken exo-mount of XFCE.
