Quick question. Are the /var/log/{removed_packages,removed_scripts} folders actually used by Slackware in any way other then allow the user to keep track of what has been removed? Simply put, is it safe to clear these folders.
I tend to think you might safely delete them as I cannot imagine any way in which the package tools might really need them.
But don't be misled by what the folder looks like - in there are just plain text files. Deleting those two directories would free up slightly less than 2 (two) MB (Megabyte) on my machine right now. I can live with that fo'shizzle
