Reinstalling a given package by means of installpkg.

kernel 3.2.29, Slackware 14.0

Hi: is it convenient, before reinstalling a given package by means of installpkg, to do removepkg first?

To reinstall a package, just use upgradepkg as below :

upgradepkg --reinstall <package-name>

Or you can do this:

# slackpkg reinstall <package>
