Red LiLo screen after Blue?

I just installed slackware (for the third time) but after the blue lilo menu i get a red one, i cant do anything at all.

ive reinstalled 3 times now, deleting and making the partition each time, im rather new to linux so be gentle.

this is really frustrating

regards...Aaron
