I am running Slack 9.1 on both my machines. One is a laptop and the other is my server that does ftp, email, and is acting as a file server. I was browsing Google last night, but ended up with a sea of websites. I am basically looking for some free virus protection that will compile on my boxes mentioned. I would also like a recomendation for some good email scanning software as well. I realize that this is probably goning to cost. If possible do they make an all in one solution for servers that protect both the machine and scan email? Seems like kind of a waste to have to run two programs and eat up resources. Any feedback would be great.

I've heard some good things about Clam Antivirus , but personally I prefer Vexira, which is a commercial product. It does a great job protecting my mailserver at the office.

Have you tryed fprot it is free for linux by my understanding.
