Realtime scheduling without PAM


Does anyone know how to enable realtime scheduling for users without having to install PAM?

set_rlimits

Hi, sorry, side question.
PAM isn't Pluggable Authentication Modules?

Isn't something for security and authentication of users??

@mlpa, yes PAM is Pluggable Authentication Modules. In some distros it is used to let normal users run processes at a higher priority to achieve realtime.
