Re-Installing Lilo?

Ok I have a Windows XP Partition and a Slackware partition on the same hard drive. I want to reformat my Windows partition but leave my Slackware partition alone. When I do that Windows will overwrite the MBR deleting my LILO bootloader. How would I put it back on? I know Windows XP has the "fixmbr" command in the recovery console. Is there something like this for Slackware?

If you don't have a boot floppy, you will need to boot your root partition using your install cd (directions are given at the boot prompt), then rerun lilo.

(1) Boot from the Slackware CD and log in as root.
(2) mount /dev/hda2 /mnt (but, instead of 2, use whichever partition is your root partition)
(3) chroot /mnt
(4) lilo

How would I make a boot disk? That would make this easier.

Set up lilo to write to a floppey /dev/fd0 instead of mbr and then run lilo. This will put your boot up to the floppy. You can then just use the floppy to boot slack.
