RC5, after console switch, X frozen.

Hi,

I am running freshly install Slackware64 RC5 on a Dell Optiplex S390. Using alt-ctrl-F? to switch console, when switching back to X, I would get a frozen X, nothing except the mouse is moving (sometimes, you may need to switch back and forth a few times, but should be less than 3).

I have tried the stock kernel (huge-3.2.29) and a self compile kernel 3.5.4, both has the same problem.

Here is some info of my system:
4-core i5-2400 CPU (3.2GHz)
8G ram.
ATI Cedar PRO [Radeon HD 5450] with 512MB RAM

Attached are my kernel config file and lspci output.

Anyone have a similar problem?

Also with the stock kernel, command 'poweroff' or 'restart' do not work on this machine, it stuck at the last stage when it suppose to power off or restart. No problem with 3.5.4.

It seems strange. After switching to kernel 3.4.11, no more frozen.
