The Current tree multilib should be the same versions. You can always grab the build script, edit it, and rebuild the package if needed.

I don't know what changed but, RC 5 Boots faster, and it seems much smoother...could a kernel change be the reason? I don't care, I'm happy with what I'm seeing : )

If I want to use kernel 3.2.30 what is the best way to go about this upgrade from RC4?

Upgrade kernel then upgrade packages? Do I need new kernel-headers and if so how?

AlienBOB usually sleeps when Pat releases his updates. I have pushed my packages right before heading off to work.

README.initrd kernel version behind

README.initrd still refers to kernel 3.2.28.

I know, it even says kernel version might be different - but it was ALL that I could find wrong with my RC5 install!

Upgrade the system first, then build the new kernel. Keep the headers for 3.2.29, you should always have the headers that were used to build the installed glibc or you will run into problems.
