questions about install and triple booting...

So I messed up my RH9 install a bit, and i wanted to try a more advanced distro, so after decided between Debian and Slack, I'm going to go for Slack :P

First question, in the install section of the book on slackware.com, It recommends installing LILO, but I am already using GRUB set up for my dual boot of RH and WIndows, so is it possible to not install LILO and configure GRUB to find the slackware install? And is it possible to triple boot from GRUB? In GRUB, there is 3 options, 2 linux kernals and dos (windows), what would slack show up as?

Second, I'm a little worried about getting the partitions streight. My set-up right now is
HD1: 80 gigs first 10gigs windows then 70gig extended
in which 15gigs unallocated then .5gig fat32 and 55 gigs fat32
So i wnat to put the slack install in the 15 gigs
(the RH install is on a different hard drive)

In the start of the set-up, from what I understand, is after you boot, you go into a ocmmand line where you use fdisk to create the partitions
hda2 is the name of the extended partition
and hda5/6 are the two fat32 ones
But i want it to make partitions in the unallocated space, but I'm not sure if I know how to do that without ruining the data partitions

is where I am getting my info from.

Thanks

Yes you can just leave grub and add a new entry. Just skip the bit about lilo in the install.

You need to do partitioning manually it id fairly simple. Just run:
cfdisk

during the install it is a bit easier than fdisk.

Try /sbin/cfdisk, if that doesnt work then its prob. not on your system

When you begin the slackware install the first few things it wants you to do is create a swap and root partition. It lets you select a option to run cfdisk to partition.
If you still cant partition you can always use fdisk from RH.

And you can boot to an unlimited number or operating systems with grub, its just a matter of having the space for all of them.. I ambooting into 5 myself.
