question about upgradepkg glibc-2.3.6

upgrade glibc from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 successful , but some files of glibc-2.3.5 still exist.
The lib file comes in the package is in /lib/incoming & /lib/tls/incoming, install scripts doinst.sh copy them to /lib & /lib/tls while /var/log/packages/glibc-2.3.* still think they are in */incoming, is this a bug?

Nope, it's not a bug. It's a workaround in install script to upgrading of glibc libraries (the most essential one) "on the fly" would be possible.
If you didn't do it already, look in /var/log/scripts/glibc-* for details.
Of course, you may remove files from previous version if you know what are you doing.
