I am running slackware 9 and am trying to get Quake 3 to work properly.
The game works great and 3D is fine - no crashes or anything, and I'm real happy about that.
On the other hand, the mouse doesn't work. It's completely broken.
In X it's fine, I can use the mouse perfectly, but in Quake 3, I see a flickering cursor in the middle of the screen with the game's icon underneath it (which would show it is loading) with the game running behind it. I can use the arrow keys etc to navigate the menus, but the game's mouse pointer remains jammed in the top-left corner of the screen.
I am using correct drivers and the latest Quake 3 point release.
hey- i can run quake 3 just fine with no problems off the cd on slackware 9....i can run quake 3 1.31 just fine...but when i install 1.32 release- my mouse on the menus doesnt work and i can t log into games in urban terror....i can enter into quake 3- and the buttons on my mouse work in the game- but my mouse movement doesnt work when i move it forward, etc in the game
