Qt 3.3.1 + OpenGL

I'm on slackware current (Qt-3.3.1, KDE-3.2.1, X 4.4), and OpenGL with Qt will not work. Without Qt, OpenGL works fine, but whenever I try to run a Qt application which requires OpenGL, nothing gets drawn to the OpenGL widget. All I see is a black screen with some garbage from previous OpenGL renderings (Probably something which is still in the framebuffer).

I noticed this first with my own application, I tested some examples which can be found in /usr/lib/qt-3.3.1/examples/opengl, they all gave me the same result.

So does anybody know what the problem is ?
