Python-Ogre installed under slackware? How to do it?

How can i install python-ogre under slackware.

The first script to download some dependencies uses apt-get and sudo.
When i change this to su -c "slapt-get -i <packages>" then it says the packages doesn't exist.

When i follow the installation on wiki.python-ogre.org further then this step, python-ogre doesn't work. What can i do?

I haven't fully read it, but it seems that http://wiki.python-ogre.org/index.php/LinuxBuildV2 has some information on building it -- it suggests a few things for non-Debian distros -- but unfortunately it looks like it'll require a lot of manual work on your part. I searched the common repositories for Slackware and only found the standalone Ogre3D (and only at linuxpackages.net and without a buildscript) and not Python-Ogre. Unless someone else has compiled it or is willing to try to help you out, it looks like it'll be a brute-force attempt with much browsing through code.

Good luck and sorry I couldn't be of more help.
