proftpd User Upload Location
Heyas,
Today I put Slackware 9.1 on an old computer of mine that I plan on using as an FTP server. I use SSH to do whatever tweaking I need to on that server now. If it comes to the point where I absolutely need an X server I can pull out a monitor and keyboard and all that, but I would certainly prefer not to.
My problem is that I want users with accounts to be able to upload from / up (by / I mean /home/ftp). However, not they can only upload to a /upload/ directory. Is there someway to modify this through a config file? I had an X app that I used to initially add users with, gproftpd I think. I don't think running an X server works through SSH. So, does anyone have any idea how to edit this from a command line? I essentially want ot just make /home/ftp the default root directory as well as the default upload directory.
Thanks,
Chris
