Problem with wine - CLOSED/DUPLICATE PROBLEM

I was using wine from alien bob's build and had no problems. Had trouble with my computer (hard drive) and had to erase and reinstall. I have slackware 13_64 and have multi-lib installed following instructions. I thought I would use slackbuild.org and download and build wine and it's dep. Everything worked okay. I rebooted my computer today and now wine no longer works. I removed the pkg I built and downloaded and installed alien bob's build. Still doesn't work and gives the exact same errors. In a terminal I tried winecfg and this is the result:

Code:
bash-3.1# winecfg
/usr/bin/winecfg: line 29: /usr/bin/wine: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/winecfg: line 29: /usr/bin/wine: Success
When I look in /usr/bin I see all of the wine executable such as wine, wine-preloader, wineboot, winebuild, winecfg, etc.

Any help appreciated.

john

If it's giving you that error despite the files existing then it is the wrong architecture (32-bit WINE [WINE does not come in 64-bit anyway] on a 64-bit system). This would therefore mean that your multilib system is not setup properly. That is my guess, anyway.

Thanks, that is the same error message. I did do a search on the forum for "wine" and read the results but must have missed this one. I will mark this thread as closed-duplicate problem.
