Hello!
I am running Slackware64-13.37 with kernel-generic-2.6.38.4.
Here is some relevant hardware info:
Code:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family DRAM Controller (rev 09)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
The problem is that in kde, when I click with the right mouse button on the desktop, I get a window that is blurred with black and the text is almost invisible. The same happens when I click on the panel. This problem is not present in xfce. The driver I am using is "intel". Here is what glxinfo says:
Code:
glxinfo
name of display: :0
Unrecognized deviceID 126
X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 153 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext)
Serial number of failed request: 21
Current serial number in output stream: 24
Obviously something is wrong, but I have no idea what. Can I somehow circumvent the problem, sacrificing some eye candy, but staying with kde?
I can go without direct rendering and compositing for example. The Xorg.0.log is attached.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
