hai,,can you tell me how to conffigure sakis3g on slackware 14.1 because i can't browsing on ffirefox and ping via terminal although status on sakis3g "connected" ?
Why are you trying to use sakis3g when Slackware-14.1 already provides NetworkManager?
I suspect that you are trying to connect to the internet using a USB modem device. If so, it would help to know the device that you are trying to use. After plugging the device, please post the output of 'lsusb'.
Your brief description of your problem suggests that your device is being initialised, but that DNS information is not being supplied. Perhaps the connection to your ISP is being refused due to incorrect APN and/or incorrect username/password combination.

I have been comfortable with sakis3g
problem solved when I edit / etc / resolv.conf by adding "nameserver 8.8.8.8" but setting it back when I was using wifi, how to make the configuration into permanent?
