Problem with Google-Chrome, it not work.


Hi

I installed Google Chrome on to Slackware64 current(01/2010) kernel 2.6.32.5, and it out a withe screen, and on console show this error
Code:

Creating shared memory in /dev/shm/com.google.chrome.R0VMzx failed: No such file or directory
ORBit2 an GConf also are installed. On compilation not look any error.

Edit: I could see that it works as root (!)

You can
Code:
chmod 777 /dev/shm
so the user that runs chrome can write in shared memory

It requires GConf.

But GConf needs Orbit2. See http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.0/libraries/GConf/
