Problem with ghostscript fonts (maybe?)

Hello, I have installed Slackware 12 which works just fine.
When I make a .ps file from a latex source (mainly maths stuff, so I guess the font is computer-modern)the dvi files displays perfectly but the .ps one has ugly fonts with kghostview.
Maybe it is all about gs, but I can't find a solution.
Anybody with the same problem found the trick?
Thanks,Aldo
