Problem with djvu libraries in Slackware

Hello !

I'm trying to view *.djvu files on My Linux machine...

I've downloaded djvulibre(v 3.5.14) source package from site: http://djvulibre.djvuzone.org/ & installed it ok(by ./confirgure, make, make install - being root)

now when I'm trying to start veiwer it reports:

root@someplace:/usr/local/bin/djview
/usr/local/bin/djview: error while loading shared libraries: libdjvulibre.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but file: libdjvulibre.so.14 is in /usr/local/lib/ directory !!

Pls help me on this issue...

Much appreciated,
Sader
