Problem playing videos on youtube (sound)

Having a problem with my sisters PC, basically when playing videos on youtube, the sound randomly freezes, like a stuck record. The video carries on playing normally though. This only happens on youtube though, can use other things which are playing sound like audacious and they work fine.

Using Firefox 5.0.1, latest libflashplayer. Tried installing a spare soundcard in case it was that but problem is still there so don't think it's that.

Anyone else experienced this?

I had similar issues long time a go. It turned out to be flash.

Try to right click on the video and choose
settings => hardware acceleration.

Kind regards

Are you using 13.37? This should give you 6.0.2 for Firefox rather than 5.0.1 if you are updating /patches. Then perhaps try adjusting the slackbuilds.org flash-player-plugin script for the recently released rc1 version (flashplayer11_rc1_install_lin_32_090611.tar.gz) and have another go :).

The version of Flash Beta on the Adobe Labs website doesn't have issues with anything on Youtube, Facebook, etc.
