Well the easiest to use editor is mcedit.
So try: mcedit /etc/lilo.conf and comment (add a #) to the line that says: lock
so it reads: #lock
Then save (to save press F2 or hit ESC to exit and it will ask you to save changes), after saving, did you run the command chroot? (don't run it twice) If you did, run lilo by typeing (on the command line): lilo
that should update your lilo, try rebooting and see what happens.

to install the changes that you have made, you have to run lilo as root

Please take note that I did not make ANY changes at aLL, this happens to me every time I load a different OS, after the next restart it will only load the last OS loaded.

Whats going on ?

Im puttin the original LILO here as soon as i LOAD linux.

less isn't an editor so you couldn't have saved trought it :/
You have to comment the lock line because it seems to be the cause of your problem, from man lilo.conf: "lock Enables automatic recording of boot command lines
as the defaults for the following boots. This way,
lilo "locks" on a choice until it is manually over_
ridden."

That also explains why when you run lilo it "reseted" you choosed linux and now it defaults to linux instead of windows.
