problem installing ralink RT61 driver in slackware 10

i'm a newbie. i need help installing my ralink rt61 driver in my slackware 10. i downloaded the driver
RT61_Linux_STA_Drv1.0.4.0.tar.gz at the ralink website. i uncompressed it and went to its directory. i followed the instructions on how to compile it on a linux kernel 2.4 series (my linux version is 2.4.26) but i encountered an error along the way.

cp Makefile.4 ./Makefile
chmod 755 Configure
make config
make: ./Configure: Command not found
make:***[config]Error 127

i have no idea what to do next. i would really appreciate some help. thanks.

I myself have yet to be able to get that chipset to work with a 2.4 series kernel in conjunction with the official Ralink driver

I have however, been able to flawlessly set that card up with a 2.6 series kernel along with the Serialmonkey's CVS daily build driver...With that set up, I've gotten it to work both on Slackware and FreeBSD
