problem installing hostap driver


hi, i've tried to install the hostap driver in my Slackware12.1 but got the error
MAkefile:53:Warning: Linux Wireless Extensions, CONFIG_NET_RADIO, not enable in the kernel,***Can't build for 2.6 with a non2.6 source!make:***[2.6]Error1

Can anyone help what i should do and how to install the hostap?

Hello,

Why would you want to compile hostap driver?

It's already in the kernel of Slackware 12.1 (i.e. version 2.6.24.5)

As stated on their site:

Note! Host AP driver was added into the main kernel tree in Linux v2.6.14. The version in the kernel tree should be used instead of this external hostap-driver package
