problem booting from cd


My Slackware disk does not boot from the cd and i changed the boot sequence in my bios to cd as number 1 but still have no luck so do i have to make some sorta of boot floppy to make the installation work?

Make sure you burned the ISO right. Not saying you did but I have heard of People trying to burn the MD5 file.

I burned the iso properly i did not burn the md5 or asc or w/e lol

So it will just blow right by and try to boot your computer. See if you can boot a windows cd. This will help by x ing out either the cd rom or the cd.

windows cd doesnt work either so its the cd roms fault!

Is this on a laptop or a PC? If you can try to change it out with another pc.
