I am using openoffice 1.1 and when I click print it dosent print. The
printing is fine in other editors such as Kwrite. It has an option to
configure the printer where I have selected the generic printer. I use Cups
printing in all other editors. In the OpenOffice printer configuration it
has the oprtion called :Command to send to the printer and its value is lpr.
I know that I am not using lpr for printing, what should be the value
instead of lpr so that it uses cups.
you need to run spadmin from the openoffice directory which I think is in /usr/local....from there you can change the print command, like Nis said, lpr-cups should work.
