PowerDevil Daemon fails due to conflicting power manager

I'm running Slackware64-current on a Samsung R540 laptop, and I having some trouble with my power management system. Under system settings, one of the two listings entitled "Power Management" contains the following message "The configuration module could not be started... Another power manager has been detected. PowerDevil will not start if other power managers are active..." Simple message, but I'm not running any other power managers that I know of. I haven't spent much time with Slackware or KDE, and am hoping someone with more experience can point me in the right direction.
Thanks for any help in advance,

The issue was resolved by finishing my upgrade to Slackware current using the "slackpkg clean-system" command.
