Hello:

Once I have installed current, do I need to keep everything un-blacklisted in the /etc/slackpkg/blacklist file?

Do I keep the 'current mirror' open in the /etc/slackpkg/mirrors file?

Hello,

if you want to keep current up to date, you'll need no blacklisted packages. If you install any other packages, i.e. from slackbuilds or from AlienBob's repository (libreoffice etc.) you'll have to blacklist this packages.

You'll have to keep the current-mirror, this means that every run of "slackpkg upgrade-all" will try to install everything which is new in current. If you don't want this behavior, you'll have to blacklist the packages. There is an example in the blacklist-file how you can blacklist a whole packagepath.

Yes, you should keep one of the current mirrors active.
Generally yes. The only problematic (is it?) package is aaa_elflibs. But I guess it only applies to stable releases.

Additionally, if you set up Alien Bob's multilib system on Slackware64, you should also blacklist certain packages. The tutorial specifies which ones.
